First Review of the Arrangement Under the Extended Credit Facility, Financing Assurances Review and Request for Waiver of Nonobservance of Performance Criterion

The three-year arrangement under the Extended Credit Facility (ECF) was approved on July 20, 2016 in an amount of SDR 83.55 million (75 percent of quota) for the Central African Republic (C.A.R.). The ECF arrangement supports the government’s reform agenda to restore macroeconomic stability, boost economic growth and job creation, reduce poverty, and build resilience towards exiting fragility.
